![]() I've also soloed 2 muk, exeggutor and bayleef ![]() if you want to know my mons and moves used to defeat machamp let me know. I understand the new system is different and lacking in some areas but if you don't like pogo then either quit or figure out what you can do to stay in the game. That's pretty fun and still shows my strength. So my end game is to have 6 counters for the lvl 3's and raise my win count. ![]() I also get enjoyment fighting gyms so I can raise my win count on my pokes so personally I attack enemy gyms regardless if I give them their coins. I have a couple of counters for the other lvl 3's but not 6 so my new goal is to get 6 good counters. When I beat it it gave me hope that I could find life in the game. I soloed a machamp today and managed to catch it(with 87IV and counter/close combat!) because I happened to have 6 idealpsychics that I used in the old gym system. My new goal is to be able to solo all the lvl 3 gyms with 6 ideal counters. Dude stop game free to play how to#I agree with a lot of complaints but instead of cry I figured out how to have fun. I see way to many people complaining about the game instead of doing something to figure out how to have fun. I wish i could thumbs up this a hundred times. The reduction in coins rewarded might just be temporary to protect them from anything explosive. Think about how many times have Niantic tried (and failed) to change the prestige calculation in the old system? They are willing to change things up. I do agree that receiving less rewards feels bad right now, but I don't think it will stay like this forever. Having to change up what you usually do feels bad, but playing a game of circulation is better than a game of stagnation. Wait for the players to optimize their play style and wait for Niantic to finish tuning their numbers is probably a wiser move. Therefore, don't spam berries, don't spam potions, don't buy a huge amount of anything yet. There has never been such a big change in PoGo before, Niantic is probably still looking for things to change and numbers to tune other than that "1 coin per 10 minutes and 50 coins per day cap" thingy. Is it possible to start cooperating with your neighborhood? In the above case, one gym can "satisfy" 18 players nearby per day without upsetting anyone. Then the yellow team has another 8 hours before the Red team wanna take over again. So 6 blue players took the gym, for 8 hours. After about 8 hours, they would stop feeding berries because they know further defending brings no benefit. The 6 red players started defending the gym, feeding berries, etc. Mystic and Valor players probably will just allow you to take the gyms for a while, fellow Instinct people.Ĭonsider a case that there are 18 players, 6 from each team living near one gym only. This is the same for dominant vs non-dominant team players. Especially if you attack their gyms after they have defended for over 8 hours, they have ABSOLUTELY NO incentive to stop you from taking their gyms. They can remotely feed berries to stop you from kicking out their defenders, but that also means they're not getting coins. Yeah, since they use cheat, they can be anywhere anytime, but it doesn't mean they're collecting a crazy amount of coins. Consider putting a weaker Pidgey to attract enemy players to help you collect coins in remote area?Ĭheat users aren't as disastrous to the game as you think. You can always place your unkillable Blissey to defend the gym forever, but defending a gym forever isn't meaningful. You don't wanna ruin their game by kidnapping their Dragonites in gyms, so don't feed friendly pokemons that have already stayed in gym for a long time. You teammates won't get their coins back if their pokemons don't lose motivation. Since we probably won't have a stable income with the new system, you would want to be occupying more gyms at the same time, because that means you are more likely to have enough defenders returning and bringing back coins for you to reach the 50 coins/day cap. How to smartly circulate different players' defenders into the defending slot is the key to success. However, to obtain the most coins under the new system, there are situations that you rather ALLOW enemies to take down your gyms. ![]() In the old gyms system, the best way to play was always to occupy 10 gym forever in order to gain the most coins. Come on! The old gym system SUCKS! Now that Niantic has finally change it, take your time to think of the new optimal way to play before start crying on the Internet. I've seen so many posts from ppl crying about getting less coins and having to change up their play style. ![]()
